Ruby red in color. The aroma gives red fruit, cocoa and chocolate supplemented with wild berries and blossom. The Niepoort Secundum Vintage Port 2000 is a ripe, impressive wine with fine acids, with a beautiful concentrate and soft tannins.
Description
For the Niepoort Secundum Vintage Port 2000, the grapes Touriga Naçional, Tourliga Franca, Tinta Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta amarela, Sousão and Tinta roriz were used. The Niepoort Secundum Vintage 2000 is a two style Vintage Port, a slightly more accessible, charming style. The vines have an average age of 70 years and the grapes are still used in the original way.
