A beautiful dark ruby red Vintage Port with lots of fruit, length and character.
Description
The Bioma Vinha Velha (from old vines) is a single vineyard Port from the Pisca vineyard with vines of over 80 and sometimes even over 100 years old. This results in a Port with optimum terroir expression and intensity. The vineyard is organically farmed and the Port is matured in 550ltr 'pipes' as was done centuries ago. Bottled in April 2011.
