The Rosso Piceno Superiore from Tenuta De Angelis is a popular red wine in our range. Owner Quinto Fausti has been assisted by his son Alighiero for a few harvests and produces a red wine of consistently high quality.
The wine jury of the leading Italian wine guide Gambero Rosso also noticed this. De Angelis always receives an excellent rating from them. But Perswijn also recently rated this red wine as excellent.
The Rosso Piceno Superiore from montepulciano and sangiovese grapes matures in oak barrels for almost eighteen months after fermentation. The wine has a roundness and a seductive oak nuance and retains the pleasant freshness that is so characteristic of many Italian red wines.
