Description

You will usually find wines from individual producers and rarely from wine-growing cooperatives. Too often the quality of those large cooperatives is disappointing. However, there are exceptions to the rule. This beautiful wood-matured red Médoc from the winegrowers from the village of Gaillan is one of them. Only the best successful vats are bottled and from this we made a final selection by comparison. The Bensse is made from 65% cabernet and 35% merlot grapes that, after classic fermentation, ripen for about six months in small oak casks. The result is an accessible fragrant Médoc with a full flavor and a balanced aftertaste, which makes it easy to serve from an early age. Beautiful classic northern Médoc with a very competitive price-quality ratio and a long record of medals won.
