Youthful fresh red wine with the smell of fresh red fruit and herbs. The taste is smooth and full. Possibly slightly chilled for many starters and main courses of beef or veal.
Description
Frédéric Albaret shows that he can make terroir-typed red wine for everyday life for a small price. He proves where a small producer can be strong: making a quality wine that generously exceeds the average in a completely individual and elegant style.
His production is limited but that is no problem for us. The traders in bulk wines usually have limited available wines; with us there is just room for these pearls.
Les Jardins has fruit and finesse of syrahgrenacheen carragande grapes planted on slate soil. Albaret finally established its reputation in 2011 when the magnificent 2010 Les Jardins was awarded the best red wine under 10 euros by the German culinary wine magazine 'Der Feinschmecker'!
