Description
In the beautiful, juicy Nostre Païs, you will find no fewer than five different, specifically southern French grape varieties: Grenache, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, and Syrah. According to Michel Gassier, Nostre Païs offers a characteristic terroir expression due to the low yield in the vineyard and the optimal ripeness of the grape.
Consultant winemaker Philippe Cambie (his nicknames are Pope of Châteauneuf and also Monsieur Grenache) has left his mark on this Châteauneuf-du-Pape clone. A small portion of the wine is aged in oak barrels and bottled unfiltered. In a word: superb!
