Fragrant dry white wine with fresh yellow fruit, some peach and light oak in the aroma. Elegant style thanks to chardonnay ̩and viognier, great with many dishes with fish or chicken.
Burgundy producer Badet Clement
For the owners and oenologists of Burgundy producer Badet Clement it is a challenge to make a Burgundy clone in the south of France. Laurent Delaunay in particular is a specialist in finding vineyards that give a characteristic expression to the grape. For the Pontificis white she selected cool Chardonnay vineyards and ripe Viognier. After fermentation follows a classic maturation in small oak barrels where the batonnage, originally from Burgundy, is also applied. This makes the wine taste full and creamy.
