This red Côtes de Blaye is one of the mildest red wines in the Bordeaux region. Due to the use of almost exclusively Merlot grapes, the wine is even reminiscent of a Saint Emilion or light Pomerol in style. The winemaker is Pierre Ardoin. He studied wine engineering at the University of Bordeaux.
