For more than four centuries, the Berthenet family has been cultivating vineyards in the Côte Chalonaise. The current generation, led by Jean-Pierre Berthenet, has made a clear choice for sustainable viticulture, with the result: beautiful and complex white Burgundy! Berthenet has a small plot of 1.37 hectares in the premier cru Les Platières, conveniently located on the southeast for the first morning sun. The grapes ripen earlier than elsewhere, creating an excellent quality chardonnay. The careful vinification ensures a tasteful and complex white burgundy.

This beautiful Montagny regularly wins prizes at wine competitions and receives honorable mentions in reputable wine guides.

Drink at
A good accompaniment to many fine fish dishes, but also poultry or even goat cheese!

Tasting note
Full dry white wine with ripe yellow fruit on the nose and light nuances of toast. The spicy, full flavor lasts for a long time. Wine with length and complexity.
