Tasting note Muscat de Beaumes de Venise

French white wine with a fruity aroma of fresh Muscat grapes and lychees and a powerful taste. Well chilled, a tasty aperitif, but also delicious with desserts with fresh fruit.

Description

The Muscat Beaumes de Venise is renowned for its high degree of fruitiness and refinement in smell and taste. The reason why this Muscat is more refined than grapes planted elsewhere is that the southern Rhône is the limit where the Muscat still becomes ripe enough to make a sweet wine. So it is in fact a cool climate for this grape. This ensures that the ripening of the grape takes longer and proceeds more evenly than in more southern regions. The grape therefore retains more fresh acidity and the sweetness is therefore balanced. The cooler region also has its effect when it comes to the smell. The grapes retain significantly more aromatic substances. The Muscat Domaine Beaumalric has great refinement and is annually well rated in the French wine guides.
