Petits Monts

Brother and sister Jean-Louis Sirugue and Marie-France make a red Burgundy that is treated in the same way as the great wines of this family estate, including barrel aging for about 15 months.

The grapes come from four small plots of vineyard at Clos de Vougeot Nuits-Saint-Georges and Chambolle-Musigny. And although they lie outside the borders of these famous wine municipalities, the origin is special and of high quality.

The beautiful light color of the wine is characteristic of the natural way of making wine on the domaine. The red Burgundy is refined, fresh and seductive and now ready to drink. What a contrast with dark-colored wines from warmer, more southerly regions.

This elegant red wine is lighter and super refined: a nice introduction to the style of Domaine Sirugue and good red Burgundy in general. Accessibly fragrant and exactly as a Burgundy AOC should be.
