Description
What a beautiful wine from our Greek domain Gaia Wines! The Gaia S is inspired by the success of the high quality Super Tuscans from Italy, where an indigenous grape is supplemented with an international variety.
In this case, Gaia adds about 30% syrah to the local agiorgitiko. An unusual blend that produces a particularly fine wine.
The grapes are hand-picked in Gaia's higher vineyards in Nemea. After fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately twelve months in small French oak barrels. The wine is then bottled unfiltered.
The Gaia S has a lot of concentration, ripe fruit and a refined, spicy taste. Drink it with roasted lamb or beef, for example. After decanting, the wine comes into its own even more beautifully. An absolute must, this Super Nemea!
