Robust balanced red wine from the Spanish island of Mallorca with finesse and freshness. Combines perfectly with meat dishes of lamb or pork or a nice cheese.
Description
Son Prim is a small bodega on Mallorca with only 6 hectares of vineyard. The owner Jaime Llabrés replanted the family vineyard in 1993 with the quality grapes merlot syrah and cabernet. Wine from young canes is usually not very concentrated, so Jaime waited more than ten years before the first harvest came on the market.
The result is special. Bodega Son Prim makes remarkable wines that always win awards at important wine competitions. The wine matures for twelve months on small wooden casks of American Hungarian and French oak. A special mix that increases the complexity of the scent. The finesse and freshness are characteristic of this 'island wine'.
