The southern French Languedoc is in the spotlight when it comes to quality wines. From tasty, accessible house wines to special appellation wines, they make it all. Generally for modest prices too.

After an orientation towards international grape varieties such as chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon, the local, authentic southern French grape varieties are also becoming increasingly popular again. This results in characterful, classic French wines, such as the Fontanet blanc.

This fresh and pure white wine is made from white grenache, a Languedoc grape pur sang. The ripe, southern grapes provide a smooth, round wine, with ripe stone fruit and mild acidity.

To preserve the fruity character, the fermentation takes place at low temperatures. Add to that the typical southern French spiciness and you have a delicious wine for everyday use, whether you drink it alone or with food.
