Southern French white wine with a short wood aging: a typical, fruity chardonnay with a juicy, full taste. Delicious with cold dishes, fish dishes and salads.

Southern French pomerols

Chardonnay comes in many forms; from expressive, thick and creamy wines to subdued and bone-dry chablis-like flavors. Le Jade Chardonnay is somewhere in between. This wine comes from vineyards north of Sète, close to the southern French coast. The proximity to the sea moderates the warm Mediterranean climate. This keeps the grapes fresh and fruity in taste during ripening.

Part of the harvest remains briefly in oak barrels and is assembled with the other part, aged in stainless steel tanks. This gives this Chardonnay a perfect balance between fruity and slightly toasted aromas.

The Le Jade wines from the village of Pomérols, between Sète and Agde on the Bassin de Thau, stand out in a very positive way. The pure fruit scent and the fresh, seductive taste are fantastic for wines in this price range. The Chardonnay regularly wins prizes.
