The two brothers Eligio and Claudio Bonomo are the proud owners of Monte del Frá, a beautiful domain in Veneto. The name dates back to the time when there was a small monastery where monks (fra) lived on this hill (monte). They make wine in both Soave and in the neighboring area Custoza. The delicious dry Soave is made from native grape varieties such as Garganega and Cortese. Monte del Frá is an extremely successful producer, which is confirmed annually by medals at wine competitions and good press references. For example, they are prominently mentioned in the Gambero Rosso, the most important Italian wine guide.
