Juicy fruity Sicilian red wine. Bright red in color and spicy fruity in scent with nuances of ripe red fruit and fragrant herbs. The smooth taste is fresh and round in structure and has a smooth, aromatic aftertaste. Excellent terrace wine, lightly cooled to combine well with cold dishes or lightly spiced dishes from the grill.

 

The Sicilian frappato combined with the internationally planted French syrah; a golden hold of Caruso e Minini! The frappato grape originates from Vittoria, and is made both as a mono-grape and used for the famous Cerasuolo. The syrah grape may originally be French, but it also feels very much at home in the warm climate of Sicily.

Where frappato is characterized by elegant fresh red fruit, the syrah is known for darker fruit, more firmness and pepperiness. The combination of the two gives a wonderfully smooth wine, with a refined aroma, juice and freshness, but also filling and a fine spiciness.

The wine ferments and matures exclusively in steel tanks, for a juicy and fruity character. This makes this Rosso not only deliciously drinkable, but also suitable for fish, such as salmon or tuna.

Of course you can also drink it as it is, or in combination with a pizza or pasta with tomato sauce. Also ideal for giving slightly cooled for the enthusiast!
