Lindenhof is the name for a series of extremely expertly made wines with the characteristic South African aroma and taste characteristics. The Chenin Blanc comes from the Loire region in France and was probably brought to South Africa by the Huguenots. The South African name for this grape variety is Steen. However, both names occur.
