Tasting note Menetou-Salon rosé
Salmon pink rosé with a refined fruity and powerful aroma. The taste is mild, round and refreshing and the aftertaste is balanced, with a vinous finale.
Description
Pierre Clément studied oenology in Dijon (Burgundy). His extensive knowledge of the pinot noir grape can be found in this beautiful light-coloured, fresh-dry rosé. The vineyards, with more than thirty-year-old sticks, are located in the best and warmest locations of the Menetou-Salon appellation of origin. Here the grapes ripen perfectly.
Pierre makes no distinction in picking date for his red wine and rosé. He uses about 20% of the harvest to make this beautiful dry rosé with a refined fruit expression. Don't be fooled by the light color, because the wine has structure and power! This makes this rosé very suitable with meals, amuse-bouches or refined tapas.
