Paxxo, the Veneto Rosso

An impressive dark red wine from Italy. With its powerful and complex aroma and full, intense flavor, this Paxxo pairs wonderfully with aged cheese or rich (game) sauces.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

This impressive Paxxo is made from dried grapes, primarily Corvina, supplemented with Rondinella Cabernet Sauvignon and a little Merlot. After harvest, the grapes are stored in a dry and well-ventilated room where they lose approximately 30% of their volume until the end of November.

This drying method is similar to that of the famous Amarone, but takes slightly less time. After fermentation, the wine is aged for another twelve months in oak barrels and eight months in the bottle. The result is an impressive red wine with the power and character of Amarone!
