French red wine full and powerful in taste and with a refined aroma of oak. Good to combine with red meat - such as entrecote and tournedos - but also delicious outside the meal.

Cap Saint Martin

This red wine from Château Cap Saint Martin may rightly bear the name Cuvée Prestige. It is namely the very best that winemaker Pierre Ardoin can produce in this wine region and from his own vineyards. His top wine comes mainly from specially selected Merlot and supplemented with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. The yield is limited to only 40 hectoliters per hectare. After fermentation follows a maturation of approximately 12 months in small oak barrels. The better quality compared to the regular Cap Saint Martin is expressed in more color, more intense and more complex aromas and a fuller but at the same time softer taste. The production is fairly limited with approximately 1000 boxes.
