A delicious Kalkstein Silvaner
Fragrant dry white wine from Germany with scent nuances of flowers, ripe apple, peach and light toast. The taste is mild, refined and aromatic. Very tasty with refined fish dishes or poultry.
Rheinhessen at its best
Johannes and Christoph Th̦rle quickly make a name for themselves with their artisanal production of white and red Rheinhessen. Although top-quality German white wine is usually associated with the Riesling grape, there is a rapidly growing interest in Silvaner wines among connoisseurs. This is also the case with the Th̦örle brothers. They make a particularly fine Silvaner that is strongly typified by the terroir. They do this by keeping the yield per vine low in the chalky vineyards around Saulheim. "Mineralisch frisch und menüfreundlich" says Johannes about his 'Spitzenwein'.
