Description
With Le Bouquet 3159 we introduce a wine from a very special grape. The Delaunay family has started working on the innovative, 'hot and happening' bouquet grape series, named after researcher and spiritual father Alain Bouquet. The special thing about this series is that the grapes are more resistant to diseases thanks to backcrossing. This fits perfectly with the trend to work more and more sustainably in the vineyard.

Winemaker Jeanne Delaunay chose the white bouquet 3159. This Chardonnay lookalike is not only more resistant to mold and well-suited to the warm Mediterranean climate in the Languedoc, but also capable of producing fine quality wine – a must for the family, of course. Thanks to the grape’s properties, Jeanne can work more ecologically and significantly reduce CO2 emissions.

Besides being good for the world, this delicious wine is also a pleasure for your taste buds. It is a modern, fruity white, very similar in aroma and texture to Chardonnay. It has seductive notes of ripe white and yellow fruit, brioche and almond, a full, juicy taste and a persistent aftertaste. Taste it yourself and discover the wine of the future!

Drinking at
Original, seductive dry white wine to drink as such or with refined dishes. Nice with salads with seafood, a mussels pan, fried sole with cauliflower cream or young, hard cheeses.

Tasting note
Youthful white wine with a striking aroma of pear, peach, lemongrass, brioche and cream. The taste is full and intensely juicy with ripe fruit and mild acids. Elegant aftertaste with nuances of toast and almond.

Shelf life
Beautiful now; keeps up to 4 years after harvest date.
