Description
Crispy fresh Sauvignon Blanc in New World style. That is briefly the description of this flawless and expressive white wine from Laurent Delaunay. In 2005 he bought the small 'boutique winery' in the village of Marseillette from the talented Australian Nerida Abbott and has since expanded the range.
The Sauvignon 'Les Fruits Sauvages' is one of his most successful wines and easily confused with an exotic New Zealand Sauvignon from the South Island.
Laurent knows the recipe for this style and quality extremely well: he harvests in the early morning, soaks the skins before fermentation in stainless steel tanks and lets the wine mature 'on lie' for several months. The result is a beautiful, expressive Sauvignon of high quality.
