Pascal Agrapart with 100% Chardonnay
The Agrapart champagne comes from 100% grand cru vineyards in Avize. Because Agrapart only uses chardonnay grapes, this wine may be called blanc de blancs. This makes this champagne one of the best in this area. However, the fame of this artisanal, farmer's champagne is low. This is in contrast to the large trading houses that spend a lot of money on advertising to sell their wines. Agrapart does not see its relative obscurity as a disadvantage. He himself says: "My champagne is made for the true connoisseur and not for the label drinker!"
