Tasting note Alcohol-free rosé
Salmon pink in colour, slightly sparkling and pleasantly fruity in smell. The taste is fresh and dry and has a soft, mildly dry balance.
Description
It is not easy to find an alcohol-free alternative to wine. Often the taste is flat and artificial. Not a good choice for a spoiled wine drinker. This is because few producers use good grapes and because the taste reduction in the alcohol-free process is compensated by adding sweet, concentrated grape juice.
François Pugibet, the creator of Baron de Chanteclerc, takes a different approach. From his own vineyards and from high-quality grapes, he makes a limited-scale alcohol-free wine that is good and convinced us to proudly include it in the range. The taste is lighter than conventional wine, but this 100% Grenache rosé smells pure of ripe fruit and tastes fresh and a little spicy.
The bubbles give an extra spiciness to the wine, which can be used widely. From an aperitif to an accompaniment to all kinds of dishes. Serve this alcohol-free bubble preferably chilled, at about 8°C. In this way the fresh-fruity taste comes into its own.
