Description
Sketch is a top Albariño from one of Spain's most influential winemakers, Raúl Pérez. Perez has gained fame with the production of beautiful wines from the Mencia grape variety, but shows that he can handle Albariño perfectly. Sketch consists of 100% Albariño. From vineyards with vines of 60 and 80 years old that are planted close to the sea. This
gives the wine a 'salty' character.
The fermentation took place in large 750 liter barrels so that the terroir is not influenced too much by the use of wood. Typical of Raúl Pérez's style. Sketch does not undergo malolactic fermentation and rests for 12 months in the same barrels in which fermentation took place.
