Enjoy a glass of cheerful, uplifting white? Then this Prima Vera from the hills of Veneto is a perfect candidate.

It is a blend of international chardonnay, supplemented with Italian stars cortese (from the famous white Gavi), friulano and garganega (the Soave grape). The grapes are harvested in vineyards with clay-rich soils in the area of Lugana and Lake Garda.

After picking and pressing, the wine ferments and matures in stainless steel tanks, which ensures that it remains wonderfully aromatic, fresh and fruity. The Prima Vera smells seductively of citrus, apple, pear, jasmine and a hint of almond. The taste is lively, fresh and juicy. Its light character makes it deliciously drinkable.

Drink this white on its own, as an aperitif wine, or with Italian cold cuts (mortadella, bresaola) or antipasti. Whatever the season, with Prima Vera spring is never far away!
