Description
Le Clos de la Brussière is closely linked to our family history. This unique vintage comes from a plot surrounded by a stone wall planted in 1961. It offers a particular definition of Grenache because it comes from a terroir of quartz and flint: the wines are mineral and complex. The Grenache and Mourvèdre are harvested and vinified together, after which the wine is aged for a year in demi-muids.
The intense ruby red colour is nuanced with brilliant reflections. The complex nose reveals notes of red fruits, a hint of scrub and sweet spices. The taste has silky tannin grains and is balanced by a mineral tension. The intense fruit of youth is enhanced after a few years in the cellar by the taste of spices and laurel.
It will be the partner of your festive meals: lamb, duck breast, truffle.
