Description
Domaine Alain Gras is located in Saint Romain between the famous wine villages of Meursault and Pommard. Its vineyards are among the highest in all of Burgundy. And that is a big advantage in today's climate change. The Chardonnay ripens gradually and for a long time in the relatively cool vineyards. And therefore retains the fresh acidity that is so important for the complexity of high-quality white Burgundy.
Alain uses 20% new oak barrels and lets the wine mature in wood for about 12 months. It is a beautiful white wine with the characteristic scent of ripe Chardonnay and luxurious oak. The taste is stimulating with a long aftertaste. Very beautiful!
