For us, Domaine Richeaume is one of the leading producers in Provence. Second-generation owner Sylvain Hoesch has vineyards at the foot of Mount Saint Victoire, near the city of Aix-en-Provence. This terroir is known by connoisseurs as an absolute top location. The working method on the domaine is completely organic, which means, among other things, that only organic fertilizer is used.

This Cuvée Columelle (named after the Roman Columella, a researcher in the field of grape varieties) is an assembly of cabernet sauvignon and syrah grapes from low-yield vineyards (35 hl/ha). The wine matures for approximately twelve months in new oak barrels and has enormous concentration and complexity. This is undoubtedly one of the South of France's best wines!

Shelf life

Drinkable from five years after the harvest and can be stored up to twelve years after the harvest if desired.
