The taste of this Ramos Pinto Tawny is really beautiful, soft and very ripe with a wonderful range of impressions of plum, dried fruit, warm cherries and some black fruit.

Description

This Tawny Port is slightly less sweet than the Ruby, which is the characteristic of a Tawny Port. They are also aged longer on traditional oak “Port pipes”. The Tawny is a three to five year old blend, obtained by mixing ports with different degrees of maturity. This is the result of the aging process in various types of barrels. The color is typical of the Tawny, tan colored, with topaz colored heart. The fragrance is soft and a dusty bouquet of black fruit, figs, currants and plums.
