Salmon pink rosé and its fresh finish
Salmon pink Italian rosé. Fresh scent with nuances of light red fruit, mild spices and some dairy. The juicy flavor structure remains aromatic with a fresh aftertaste. Delicious terrace rosé, but also great to combine with cold dishes or light dishes from the grill.
Quinto and Alighiero go for a perfect rosé
Tenuta de Angelis enjoys an excellent reputation both inside and outside Italy for their delicious and attractively priced wines. This is due to the uncompromising way in which father and son Fausti always deal with the selection of the grapes. Only the best quality is good enough for their wines.
That also applies to this fine fresh and stimulating rosé. Just like their well-known red Rosso Piceno, Quinto and Alighiero also make the rosé of sangiovese and montepulciano. The vines are planted in Castel di Lama and Offida. In the warmer years, sangiovese dominates the blend, in rainy years montepulciano is in the majority.
Once optimally ripe, the grapes are harvested and transported to the cellar. The Faustis make their rosé like a white wine. The grapes first undergo a cold skin soaking and are then gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The wine then ripens in this for a few months before being bottled.
The end result is a pleasant, light-footed rosé, scented with flowers, red fruit and a hint of citrus. The taste is wonderfully refreshing, juicy and thirst-quenching. Optimal quality for a friendly price: a De Angelis wine from the bottom up! Drink it as a cocktail wine, with the antipasti, or with light Mediterranean fish dishes.
