A delicious olive oil.
Like many southern Portuguese wineries, Herdade de São Miguel does not limit itself to growing grapes. Owner and winemaker Alexandre Relvas also breeds native horses and donkeys, and has planted cork forests and olive groves.
From these olive groves Alexandre harvests local varieties such as cobrançosa and arbequina. He extracts the oil from the olives by means of cold extraction. This way the quality of the smell and taste of the oil remains optimal.
It produces a fine, traditional extra virgin olive oil. It has a fruity, spicy scent and a fresh, creamy, slightly peppery taste. This makes this Segredos a delicious seasoning for various dishes. Ideal to always have at home!
