Description
La Mancha is not necessarily considered the Spanish quality wine region par excellence. A large part of the production consists of single table wines. All the more impressive are the wines of Viña Jaraba, an artisanal bodega in the heart of the region.
This Selección Especial is considered the prestige wine of the domain. It is made from the best barrels of tempranillo, cabernet sauvignon and merlot from the harvest. This top selection, composed mainly of tempranillo (70%) and complemented by the other two grape varieties, is then aged for 12 months in new French oak barrels.
It results in an impressive wine with a high fruit intensity, fine spiciness and beautiful oak influence. The structure is both powerful and velvety, the aftertaste is persistent. An impressive achievement, with which Viña Jaraba puts La Mancha in a new light!
