Description
Rosé has traditionally been an important wine for Corsican gastronomy and is mainly sold on the island itself. We were able to reserve a limited quantity of the excellent rosé at Domaine Vico.
It is made from 70% sciaccarellu and 30% grenache and stands out in our range due to its wonderful freshness in combination with notes of ripe red fruit. The yield of 40 hectoliters per hectare is low and gives a lot of flavor concentration.
Owner Manu Venturi pays more attention to his vineyards than to sending bottles to the many wine competitions and can therefore not boast of medals or high points. However, our assessment is positive.

The Le Bois du Cerf is a beautiful example of high-quality Corsican rosé, which tastes perfect with summer salads, grilled chicken and tapas.
Drink with
Beautiful, fresh-dry rosé to drink solo, with drinks or at the table. Delicious with fish with grilled vegetables, or for example salads with chicken or goat cheese.
Tasting note
Light pink colored wine with a refined scent of raspberry, red currant, cherry, laurel and pepper. Accessible and intensely juicy in taste with small red fruit, fresh acidity and a long finish.
Now beautiful; can be kept for approximately 3 years after harvest.
