Riedel Veloce Syrah-Shiraz wine glass (set of 2 glasses)

Riedel's Veloce series is the result of a clever piece of technology. The glasses are machine-made, but feel as if they were mouth-blown. Feather-light and wafer-thin, they sit wonderfully in the hand and you hardly notice it when you put them to your lips.

The Syrah glasses with their spacious bowl are particularly suitable for medium-heavy red wines with concentrated fruit and a firm structure. Syrah/Shiraz from the New World in particular does well in Veloce Syrah. But also classic Northern Rhônes come into their own perfectly in this beautiful glass.


For this series, Riedel has come up with a new trick: the grape variety is indicated on the foot of the glass. This way, you can easily see at a glance which glass you need to take out of the cupboard for which purpose.

And the name Veloce? It refers to the ever-faster developing technology, which now allows machines to virtually imitate the craft of glassblowing. A good thing, because it makes the production process a lot more efficient
