Description
Weinkellerei H. Lun excels in pure, pure wines from Alto Adige. The winery has existed since 1840 and therefore has more than 180 years of experience in this northeastern region at the foot of the Alps.
In 2010, the wine cellar was completely renovated and equipped with all modern winemaking facilities. Tradition and experience are combined here with an innovative working method.
The Pinot Bianco is made from grapes harvested in Caldaro, around the lake of the same name. To achieve the purest possible fruit expression, the wine ferments exclusively in stainless steel tanks.
It produces a beautifully pure white mountain wine, with the characteristic and refined cool Alto Adige character and a mild and round structure. With its subdued scent and elegant flavors of apple, pear and blossom, this is a special aperitif wine and a wonderful accompaniment to refined dishes with fish, shellfish or pumpkin.
Drink at
Accessible, smooth white wine to drink on its own or with snacks. Pairs well with crostinis with prosciutto and broad beans, roasted pumpkin and almond salad or seafood risotto.
Tasting note
Sparkling, accessible and supple white wine with a subtle scent of pear, apple and honeysuckle. The taste is soft and juicy with ripe fruit and mild acidity. Elegant finale with notes of almond. Nice to drink as is or with snacks. Also great with prosciutto and broad bean crostinis, roasted pumpkin and almond salad or seafood risotto.
