Riedel Veloce Pinot Noir wine glass (set of 2)

Veloce Pinot Noir is the revolutionary new red Burgundy glass from the famous Austrian glassblower Riedel. The glass is perfect for a wide range of elegant, lighter red wines. Think of Burgundy and high-level Pinot from the rest of Europe and the new world, but also Beaujolais Cru, Nebbiolo from Piedmont and red Etna.

Riedel's Veloce series is the result of a fine example of technology. The glasses are machine made, but feel as if they are mouth blown. They fit wonderfully in the hand and you hardly notice them when you put them to your lips.



Riedel has also come up with a new trick for this series: the grape variety is stated on the foot of the glass. This way you can see at a glance which glass you need to take out of the cupboard for which purpose.

And the name Veloce? This refers to the ever faster developing technology, which means that machines can now almost imitate traditional glass blowing. A good thing, because it makes the production process a lot more efficient
