Description
A juicy, exciting Sauvignon Blanc from a warm region of origin such as the Languedoc? Leave that to our Bergerac producer and sauvignon expert Hugh Ryman!
Together with local winegrowers, he selected the coolest vineyards on the Orbiel River, near Carcassonne. Here he can harvest slowly ripened and therefore aromatic grapes.
To preserve that beautiful fruit aroma, Ryman processes the grapes immediately after harvest. He presses the grapes and ferments the juice at cool temperatures in stainless steel tanks. For a little extra body, he matures the wine briefly on the yeasts.
And that produces a beautiful pure, fresh Sauvignon as we know it from Ryman, but with the ripeness of the French South. Energetic and aromatic, with notes of gooseberry and tropical fruit. A real house wine favorite!
