Description
What a beautiful new addition to Due Palme's luxury house wine series Collezione Privata. The red Collezione Privata – a sultry, oak-matured Negroamaro – now has many enthusiasts. This white is made from the vermentino grape, a specialty of Sardinia that also proves itself in Puglia. The vineyards located by the sea provide sufficient fresh acidity in the grapes.

Unlike the red, winemaker Francesco Maci (the cousin of founder Angelo) opts for a pure fruit expression without oak. He ferments the optimally ripe vermentino grapes in stainless steel tanks, in which the wine then matures for some time with the yeasts.

It produces a super seductive, mild Vermentino, with notes of pear, peach and melon and a hint of brioche. It can be enjoyed on its own or with some snacks, but is also filling enough to serve with a meal. A worthy addition to the popular red!

Drink with
Seductive, smooth white wine to drink on its own or with drinks. Great with oven-baked salmon, vitello tonato or soft, young cheeses.

Tasting note
Perfumed dry white wine with aromas of pear, peach, melon and brioche. Full and juicy with ripe pome fruits and an invigorating freshness in the taste. The finale is elegant with a light almond touch.

Shelf life
At its best until 3 to 4 years after harvest.
