Cantine Due Palme Canonico Negroamaro del Salento 2022

The Canonico Negroamaro is one of our most successful red wines due to its excellent price-quality ratio. The ancient grape, brought to Italy by the Greeks, is now Apulia's strong asset in the global wine supply with the help of modern winemaking techniques. Cantine Due Palme harvests the grapes in late September, in perfect ripe condition. This is followed by fermentation and maturation of four months in small oak barrels. The result is a sultry, rich-tasting red wine with seductive notes of candied fruit and some oak. Delicious with spicy dishes, but also suitable outside the meal, for example with snacks.

Drink with
A wine that deserves a hearty dish, such as spicy stews or grilled meat with spicy sauce. Also very suitable just like that.

Tasting note
Smooth and soft red wine with nuances of candied red fruit. The taste is full, round, aromatic and ends with a fragrant aftertaste.

Shelf life

Drinkable from one year after the harvest and can be stored up to four years after the harvest if desired.
