Description
With this brand new bottling, Sara Román proves once again what an expert winemaker she is. At our request, she made a Verdejo matured on the yeasts (sobre lías). The result is a bull's eye.

The maturation on the yeasts provides extra filling and depth in the wine, but does not make it heavy. The Sobre Lías is therefore more complex, fuller and more gastronomic than a classically made Verdejo, but more refined and subtle than an oak-matured example.

It combines the intense aroma and fresh fruitiness so typical of Verdejo with a refined smokiness and some toast. Drink this luxurious white wine on its own, but especially in combination with many dishes. Think for example of grilled tuna with tomatoes, mussels or mild vegetable curry. Highly recommended!

Drinking at
Beautiful, fresh dry white wine to drink solo or with drinks. Delicious with ceviche, fish salads, paella with shrimps and mussels or mild vegetable curry.

Tasting note
Expressive and at the same time refined white wine with aromas of quince, peach, anise and flint. Slender style with pure fruit, an uplifting freshness and beautiful creaminess in the taste. The finish is smooth and persistent.
