Description
Like many southern Portuguese wine estates, Herdade de São Miguel does not limit itself to the cultivation of grapes. Owner and winemaker Alexandre Relvas also breeds native horses and donkeys, and manages cork forests and olive groves.

Alexandre harvests local varieties such as cobrançosa and arbequina from those olive groves. He extracts the oil from the olives through cold extraction. This way the quality of the smell and taste of the oil remains optimal.

It produces a fine, traditional extra virgin olive oil. It has a refined, slightly spicy scent and a fresh, creamy, slightly peppery taste. This makes this Segredos a delicious seasoning for various dishes. Ideal to always have at home!

Drink with
This olive oil is delicious for dipping fresh bread, or for seasoning salads or hot dishes.

Tasting note
Refined and complex in scent with notes of olive leaf, artichoke and basil. Fresh and peppery in taste with subtle bitters. A long harmonious finale with nutty notes.
