Veloce Chardonnay is the beautiful white Burgundy glass from the famous Austrian glassblower Riedel. The glass is perfect for intense, complex, oak-aged white wine from the Chardonnay grape. Burgundy, of course, but also high-level wood-aged Chardonnay from elsewhere. Thanks to the spacious chalice and the wide opening, the layered aroma of the wine can be perfectly expressed.

Riedel's Veloce series is the result of a fine example of technology. The glasses are machine made, but feel as if they are mouth blown. They fit wonderfully in the hand and you hardly notice them when you put them to your lips.

Riedel has also come up with a new trick for this series: the grape variety is stated on the foot of the glass. This way you can see at a glance which glass you need to take out of the cupboard for which purpose.

And the name Veloce? This refers to the ever faster developing technology, which means that machines can now almost imitate traditional glass blowing. A good thing, because it makes the production process a lot more efficient.
