Description

Selnia is one of the fine examples of Chilean wine producers where modern techniques are applied under conditions that are heavenly for winemakers. Plenty of sun, ample availability of Andean meltwater in the vineyard and proximity to the cool ocean.

The Frenchman Sébastien Cabaret plays with these elements and uses his European origins and experience to create a beautiful Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards mainly from the Curicó valley.

The grapes are picked at night and early in the morning so that they arrive cool in the cellar. The vinification is aimed at preserving the typical Sauvignon freshness and aromatic intensity. The screw cap guarantees a good shelf life after bottling and excellently protects the wine against the influence of oxygen.

Drink with
Invigorating, freshly dry white wine to drink as an aperitif and with light dishes, such as salads with fish, spicy stir-fry dishes with chicken or young white mold cheeses.

Tasting note
Youthful, intensely scented white wine with nuances of granny smith, peach, melon and green fig. Light-footed and lively, fresh in taste with green herbs in the persistent, clean aftertaste.
