The little brother of the extremely popular Le Rosé de S
Made from rolle (vermentino) from our own vineyards
Ideal terrace and aperitif wine |
Description
The tasty and affordable Le Rosé de S has been one of our best-selling wines for years. The Sumeire family has now expanded the range with a very successful white variant! No wonder that this is also very tasty: the Sumeires have eight generations of experience in Provence and are considered one of the leading producers there.
Le Blanc de S is made from the Mediterranean rolle, also known as vermentino. The grapes come entirely from the estate's own vineyards. Once harvested, a modern vinification follows with a cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks and a short maturation on the yeasts.
This method produces a delicious and accessible white, with a mild, juicy and slightly spicy taste. Le Blanc de S is perfect as an aperitif or terrace wine. But it is also not to be sneezed at with light fish and vegetable dishes. A bull's eye!
Drinking at
Perfumed, dry white (terrace) wine to drink solo or with drinks. Nice match with salmon from the oven, ratatouille, (fish)quiche or young, soft cheeses.
Tasting note
Seductive, ripe fruity scented white wine with aromas of blossom, pear, peach and melon. The taste is accessible and intensely juicy with mild acids. Smooth finish with notes of anise and brioche.
Shelf life
At its best until approximately 3 years after harvest.
