Domaine Loew Alsace Sylvaner Vérité 2022

Beautiful dry white wine with the scent of herbs and refined yellow fruit. The taste is juicy and dry. Delicious with smoked fish, but also delicious with poultry or veal with sauce.

 

Revue du Vin de France names Etienne Loew's sylvaner as a favorite in the 'young white Alsace' category. This wine finished in second place (just behind the famous Domaine Weinbach) as the best sylvaner! A beautiful result that does justice to the special way in which the passionate Etienne works. The taste-determining factors? Low yields from vines that are over eighty years old, organic plantings and the special method of vinification - with a long, controlled alcoholic fermentation to produce dry white wine.

When asked, Etienne says she almost thinks it's a shame to drink the wine so young. Loew's goal is to 'rehabilitate' the sylvaner and return it to the reputation that he believes suits this grape. The beautiful Vérité has a great concentration and is an excellent culinary wine that can be served with many dishes.
