Erick de Sousa is one of the leading smaller producers of top-quality champagne. His wines are described as particularly good in the international wine press. In contrast to the well-known brand champagnes, Sousa only has a small production. You will therefore only find his champagnes at a limited number of addresses. It is a real enthusiast's champagne for people who pay more attention to quality than to brand awareness! This Caudalies is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the municipality of Avize that mature entirely in oak barrels. The sticks are more than 50 years old! On the back of the bottle, Sousa states the date de d̩egorgement. This is the day on which the wine was finally bottled.
