Full-bodied red wine with a refined aroma of oak and matured notes. The taste is full, powerful and balanced, the aftertaste is long and fragrant.

Description

This cuvée from Château Cap Saint-Martin rightly bears the name prestige. It is the very best that oenologists Pierre and Béatrice Ardoin produce in their own vineyards in the Blayais. This couple's top wine comes mainly from specially selected Merlot grapes, with a small portion of Cabernet Sauvignon.

The yield in the vineyard is limited to only forty hectoliters per hectare; optimally ripe and concentrated grapes. After fermentation, the wine matures for approximately twelve months in small, luxurious French oak barrels. The prestige quality has a lot of color, intense and complex scents and a full but at the same time soft taste.

A Bordeaux that, when tasted blind, can easily pass for better-known and especially more expensive regional companions. A model wine for us; this is what good Bordeaux should taste like.
